Boko Haram kills a popular chief Imam and 19 others this morning in Borno state. (details)

The dreaded terrorist group in Nigeria Boko Haram is at it again as the killed 19 people in Borno state, the incident occurred on Monday 18 September when a suicide bomber detonated a bomb he was with in the mist of civilians receiving aid in the state of Borno, killing 15 civilians on the spot, they also a killed a chief imam in Borno, a member of the civilian militia told AFP.

There were twin suicide explosion at 11am in Mashalari village (konduga) which killed 15 and injured over 43 persons, a rescue worker said. According to reports a suspected boko haram members has killed the chief imam of Kurmiri village in Titiwa on Sunday night. Titiwa is in Magumeru Local government area of Borno state. They also killed four other persons that same night.

Report has that the chief Imam Ustaz Goni Buka Tabare is an elder brother to a popular politician in Magumeru, Malam Goni Kundube. The terrorist group has refused to fade out despite the presence of heavy military personals deployed in the state, though the activities of these enemies of the state has reduced but they are still on.
