As Army withdraws from Abis state.Read what Gov Ipkeasu said.(details)

The governor of Abia state Okezie Ikpeazu has thanked God as the military withdraws from Abia state following the recent meeting of the south east governors held in Enugu last week, on the issue of the IPOB crises that has lade to too many tensions in the state, he also commended President Buhari for giving them the chance to talk to their sons on the importance of a united Nigeria.

The governor made his remarks known to the public when he visited the NUJ headquarters in the state, that was invaded by Soldiers last week, the reason for the invasion being that some journalist were posting false news about the clash between the military and members of the IPOB, which they believed were misinforming the Nigerian people. The governor said he thank God for the withdrawal of the military which would have lade to the highest blood shade in Abia history.The presence of the military has already caused more tensions in the state and the entire south east region. The governor said ''God averted the greatest bloodbath in history''

The so called IPOB members are by this recent development advised to be calm and follow the law abiding citizens of the country to go about the normal activities instead of causing chaos in the country in the point of fighting for an independence that will not come, all the time wasted and lives lost are all in vain as the country still remain united, as President Buhari would always address the general public, saying '' THE UNITY OF NIGERIA IS NOT NEGOTIABLE'' and that is what any meaningful citizen of the country should understand.

The President will not honor any call that is about the unity of Nigeria and we all should always try our best to always promote the peace and unity of this great country, any trying to break up this country might end up breaking himself and Nigeria still remain united.
