Doctores in Barcelona Spain believe the have found the cure for HIV the virus that causes AIDS which have affected more than 34 millione people world wide according to WHO.
By using blood transplant from the unbilical cords of individuals with a genetic resistance to HIV. Spanish medical proffessionals bellieve they can treat the virus having proven the procedure successful with a petient.
A 37 year old man from Barcelona who was infected with HIV virus in 2009 was cured of the virus after receiving a blood transplant.
While unfortunatly the man died of cancer just 3 years later having developed lymphoma.
The Spanish medical team still believe they have gotten a breakthrough to the deadly virus, according to the Spanish news source El Mundo.
Doctores in Barcelona has initially cured a man with HIV virus also suffering from leukemia using the procedent of Timothy Brown. The petient was given a bone marrow from a donor who carried the same resistance mutation from HIV. After the cancer treatment the HIV virus had also disappeared.
