The spokesman of the Nigeria army major Udam Umar has made it known to the public that the military has arrested 17 persons
linked to the blood bath massacre in Plateau state over the weekend. According to Umar three of the arrested suspects were linked to the killings at the Barikin Ladi area of the state while the other 14 were in connection of the killings of travelers in the southern part of Jos, the state capital.
The unholy incident that happened in Plateau state consumed at least 100 persons, as revealed by security personals, In a visit to Plateau state the president promised the people of the state that those involved in the killings will be made to face the full weight of the law. As it stands investigations are still on in the state with heavily armed security personals seen in every nook and cranny of the state.
