In the quest to transform Imo state to a modern state, the administration of Governor Rochas of the APC has taken another difficult measure in other to actualize her dream for the Southeastern state,
after the government has demolished the central market of the state in Owerri the state capital, another popular market is on the way to be removed by the government. The recently marked is the known spare parts market known as new market in Owerri, the traders have been warned to live as the government plans to demolish the market is still on ground.


As the traders were planning to live, the worst happened, the market was set ablaze by some hoodlums in the area on Wednesday, this has made the traders more sad with the government as they showered insults on the governor and even threw sachet water on his convoy, but all these did not change the decision of the government as the government went on to say that Friday is the last day for them to live the area.
