See the list of the Northern governors sent to the South East to preach peace to the region by President Buhari. (details)

President Buhari has sent some Northern governors to the south east to preach peace and one Nigeria to the region, the group which was lade by the Borno state governor Kashim Shatimma and four others governors from the north. this is simply because of the recent clash between the IPOB and the Army in Abia state.

Others in the team are Aminu Masari (Katsina), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi) and Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano).
The clash which saw gory images and video clips of IPOB members allegedly killed in Abia as well as some soldiers sustaining injuries led to the proscription of IPOB by the South-east governors and the categorization of the group as a terrorist organization by the Nigerian army.
However, the Senate President of Nigeria, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has said that the proscription of IPOB and its categorization as a terrorist organization by the Nigerian army is illegal.
Saraki gave the statement on Monday where he said due process was not followed in terming the group a terrorist organization as well as in proscribing it.

This shows that President Buhari really want unity in this country but some people will continue to pent the old man negative may be because of their unknown interest. Some Igbos think that Nnamdi Kanu loves the region because of his fight for Biafra, and he has shown the love by sending Igbo children unarmed to fight with heavily armed Military men in the notion that they are fighting for their right or defending the Biafran land, and when at the end they loose their lives who is to blame? The military can never attack law abiding citizens of the south east that go about their daily activities.
