The incident happened along Lokoja - Abuja express road where a student of the Kogi Politechnic died, along side 4 others from a fatal accident on which a Dangote Truck was believed to the cause of the accident, that lade to the burning of the Dangote truck by angry Kogi Polytechnic students, who reacted to the incident because of the death of their fellow student.
The Police were later present to calm the situation but they were unable because the anger of the students was too high and the refused to live the road for other motorists, the police even fired teargas but to no avail, people living close have been advised to stay clear for now until things return to normalcy.
