Police Officer arrested for killing a young man just to impress a yahoo boy. (read details)

This is indeed a wonderful world to live in. this incident has kept many speechless on the ground that a police man, just to please a criminal that he knows is a criminal more than any other on earth shot and killed an un armed civilian. The ugly incident happened in Warri Delta state during a child dedication party where a police man killed one Elvis Ovie and injured another Onome Eko in other to impress their boss who is an internet fraud popularly called ''yahoo boys'' or ''g guys'', according to reports they were providing security for the yahoo big boy.

The police men involved are currently on detention and the Police Public Relation Officer in Delta state DSP Andrew Aniamaka told journalist that the investigation on the matter is still on as soon as that is over the said policemen will be charged to court to face the full wait of the law.

The brother of Elvis Ovie said “From what I know, my brother sells used clothes (okrika) at Igbudu Market and the lady in whose child dedication took place at N15 Ewor Street, Okumagba Layout, Warri, where he was killed, was his close customer who had invited him to the event, ” 

 More reports has it that the said police men where always on an illegal duties with g guys and they are always payed for their services to the criminals..
“Insp Imana led the team and one Tony did the shooting which killed Elvis. This team is fund of illegal duties, aiding and abetting these ‘419’ and ‘yahoo-boys’ they are supposed to be investigating and prosecuting.
“Luck ran out on them on Sunday when they provided escort in a private car for a gang of yahoo-boys led by one Benjy to the child dedication party.
“Apparently drunk and carried away by the perks from the Benjy, they started shooting to glorify the fraudsters as they engaged in Naira decoration of the celebrant.
“It was at that point they shot Elvis and Onome. Elvis died before getting to the hospital while Onome is nursing bullet wounds at a popular hospital in Warri, “

 
The police PPRO said...
“The police in question are undergoing investigation. They are being tried for professional misconduct. If found guilty, they will face the law. They will be brought to Asaba tomorrow (Tuesday).”
