This happened on Sunday, yesterday after the Nigerian army has recently launched the second phase of the operation python dance in the South East. The army allegedly stormed the palace of the IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Afaraukwu Umuahia Abia state and shot one of the group members as they where not allow the to go on search of the leader in his compound. Daily Post gathered.
The spokes person of the group who witnessed the whole action said the Fulani and Housa soldiers stormed the compound of Nnamdi Kanu and started shooting sporadically at unarmed healthy men, killing 5 and over 30 injured by bullet wounds, he said the came with 5 hilux vehicles and after the attack they zoomed off.
According to the spokes person, all calls put through to reach the deputy director of Army Public relations 82 division Enugu Colonel Sagir Musa went unanswered.
Recently the Igbo National Council (INC) gave the chief of Army staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Burutai a 21 day ultimatum to put an end on the operation python dace II recently launched, and order his men out from the south east region of the country.
If this is not done within 21 days the INC will petition and sue the Nigerian Army and the Federal Government to the International Criminal Council (ICC) for genocide against unarmed people of the south east region.
