A female journalist has narrated how she was attacked by hoodlums in Owerri the Imo state capital, according to her the incident happened along Port Harcourt road in Owerri city, she said the thieves also made away with some of her valuable items, such as cash, ID, and phone, she was beaten up without mercy, but left to live. Owerri city has been a city of violence since the demolition of the central market by the state government.
