33 injured as second Earthquake hits China in less than a day.(see video and photos)

China is currently facing the mishap caused by the recent natural disaster in some part of the country, that has made some residents to evacuate their homes, even tourists where also affected and some has rushed out of their hotel rooms as a result of the disaster. Efe reports the incident.

At least 33 people
were injured and over a thousand houses were damaged on Wednesday in the second earthquake to hit China in a day.
The 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck the northwestern Chinese region of Xinjiang early on Wednesday, just after another devastating temblor killed at least 19 people and injured over 247 in the central region Sichuan.
Among the injured in Xinjiang were two people who were reportedly in a serious condition, while 142 of the affected houses have collapsed, regional authorities said.
The quake had struck Jinghe County at 7:27 am and was subsequently followed by 121 aftershocks, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
Xinjiang authorities canceled or halted over 60 railway services and deployed firefighters, health and other officials to the affected areas, where humanitarian aid in the form of tents, blankets, coats and other necessities have been sent.

The earthquake had a depth of 11 kilometers (7 miles) and was also felt by residents in the region's capital, Urumqi, and cities such as Karamay and Yining, according to the earthquake agency.
The western half of China, where the last two tremors struck, is an earthquake-prone zone due to friction between the Indo-Australian and Eurasian tectonic plates.
