Read what acting President Osibanjo said about the President's health as he returns back from London.

Acting president Osibanjo, addresses news men as he returns from the UK, were he went to visit the president, and he says that the president is in high spirit and will return home soon. The president has been away for over 50 days to the UK and his absence has called for several reactions in the country especially from the opposition party calling for his resignation, but nothing of such has occurred so the president is still the president and has no intentions of  stepping down as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

"First you know I went to see him to check up on him and find out how he was doing. I have been speaking to him on the phone and I thought it would be a good thing to go and see him and check up on how he was doing and also to brief him on developments back at home. We had a very good time. We had a very good conversation on wide ranging issues. He is in very good spirit. He is recuperating very quickly and he is doing very well".

Asked to speak on the state of President Buhari's health, Osinbajo said "As I have said, he is in very high spirit. He is recuperating very quickly. We had a very long conversation. We spoke for well over an hour. His humor is all there. He is doing well".

On when President Buhari is expected back home, the acting President said "I think very soon. Very very soon. I think we should expect him back very soon. As I said, he is recuperating very very fast".  

On when the two Ministers cleared by the senate would be sworn in, Osinbajo said he is not in a position to give a date for that.
