President Buhari addresses Nigerians in housa, causes confusion.

President Buhari's salah massage to Nigeria has caused some abashment from Nigerians since the massage was given in housa Language, the Ijaw group has faulted the salah speech, saying it is not right for a president of a country of numerous tribes to deliver a speech in a language only understood by the northern part of the country.


The Ijaw group went ahead to say that they are really not sure if it was actually the president that gave that speech because he knows that he is the president of the entire country not the north alone.

The group speech was made by its spokes person Henri Iyala on Sunday 25. According to Iyala, it would be difficult for Nigerians to believe that it was actually the President that made the speech on BBC.

He made it clear that English is the official language of our country and the only Language understood by all Nigerians, so it is not right for the president to address the country in any other Language that is not English.
