House Wife: My husband removed my womb without my consent.

A married woman identified as Kafilat Ragi has asked a judge of a customary court sitting in Ibadan to divorce her five years old marriage.

The reason, according to her is that her husband and a doctor removed her womb through an operation without her consent during her first and only child birth.

Now Mr Musiliu Raji, the husband did not deny all allegations placed against him by his wife but said, that was the only way to save her life and the baby because the doctor said her womb was already damaged.

The husband said that, the doctor adviced that she must not know about it for now until may be one year after, when she can bear the pain from the bad news.

Then Mr Raji pleaded to the judge not to divorce his marriage with Kafilat because he loves her so much and can't live without her.
