Man abandons wife and marries his mother-in-law.

An Indian man, 22 years of age has abandoned his wife to marry his mother-in-law.

The man identified as Matho Suraj abandoned his 19 year old wife Lalita to marry his mother-in-law Asha Davi 42, after she paid him a visit in the hospital when he was ill.

According to Indian Times Asha Davi who has also abandoned her own husband, has since been married to her daughter's husband.

The marriage which was validated by the court has also been formalized by a court wedding in June.

Suraj later realized himself and wants to go back to his former wife, Lalita.
