The act was perpetrated by the maid when her boss Mrs Kachi Mbagwu has gon for a church annual program (shiloh) at the living faith church.
She was arrested on wednasday December 14 alongside her father in Kaduna.
The boss Mrs Mbagwu told northern city news on thursday that Cynthia abandoned her baby in a desert claiming that she cried the whole night.
She was rescued by a security guard around the area the next morning.
The security man said he was afraid of rescueing the baby at night because the area was know for house snakes and wild animals.
