The Lagos state government has started the sell of rice at a low price of N13,000 per 50kg. This was made known by Mr Okanlawan who serves as an adviser to the Lagos state government.
The rice is called lake rice and it is a joint production between Lagos state and Kebbi state.
This is part of the government goal to promote locally made rice in the country.
