World cup trophy designer Silvio Gazzaaniga is dead.

The Italian died at the age of 95 in Millan.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino says the football governing body will forever be gratful to Gazzaniga.
Giorgio his son, said his father died in his sleep at thier home in Millan.
