President Obama Congratulates President elect Donald Trump.

The US president Obama, has congratulated Trump the country's president elect on his victory as the US 45th president, the Trump campaign and the white house said.

The campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said Obama called Trump early wednessday while he was speaking to his supporters in New York, and Trump called him back after he had left the stage.

The associated press reported that Obama had invited Trump to the white house on thursday.Conway said a meeting is possible.

President elect Donald Trump said that he had recieved a call from his opponent, Hillary Clinton. In his remarks he praised Clinton for a hard fought campain and said America owe her a majore dept of gratitude for her services to the country.
