Massive seizure of smuggled goods by the Nigeria Customs Service.

Some Rice smugglers in the south east and south south has been arrested by the Nigeria customs officials.

Over 2,500 bags of smuggled rice were conficated in Owerri the capital city of Imo state.

The officials of the customs service seized 29 prohibited items with a duty paid value (DPV) of 1,074,099,739,00 and under payment recovered of over N54 million.
