Biafra Agitation illegal says minister.

Those clamouring for an independent Biafra from the republic of Nigeria are doing so without the mandate of Igbo leaders. According to the minister of foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama said they are carrying out an illegal activity.

He advised the MASSOB and IPOB to adopt laid down constitutional and diplomatic means in their demands rather than engaging in an illegal approach.

The minister said though it is thier fundermental right  to clamour for Biafra but they should be rational and not emotional in going obout it.

Onyeama said thier is a democratic structure in Nigeria and there exist the senate and house of representatives and only your represntatives in the house of assembley can raise the issue of referendum regarding the soverign state of Biafra.
